Welcome to A Tribute To Dogs.

My name is Teresa Mills. I have professionally groomed and trained dogs for over 10 years. I now design web sites specializing in sites for dog breeders and fanciers.

This site was originally created as a class project for Track I of the USDA Graduate's School WebMaster Certification Program in June 2000. In December 2000, I completed all three tracks and all requirements for this program and was certified as a Webmaster by technical review committee of the USDA Graduate School.

This site is dedicated to "Cindy," a sable and white Shetland Sheepdog, who was my faithful friend and companion for 14 years. This site celebrates the bond and special friendships that exist between dogs and humans. Dogs help humans in so many ways. They are all too happy to serve humans by being service dogs for individuals with disabilities, searching for lost people or victims of disasters, herding and helping out with farm chores, or just by being companions.

Dogs have always been an important part of my life giving me much joy. Hopefully by creating this web site, I can give some back to them by educating pet owners through poems and stories. In this web site, you will find a number of jokes, poems, and stories about dogs; free graphics for your web pages; and a page of links and resources so you can find out more information about dogs, dog care, and training.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you enjoy viewing this web site.
